OC210: Solomon Island Shield

Solomon Island woven wicker shield. Round ended Solomon shields are rare and less common then the pointy end type. The original twine handle is intact, but some of the edge binding is now missing, and there are slight losses to the rattan.    

Previously in the Peter Hallanan collection, Australia.
