A large 19th century Tenegre sword. The horn handle is decorated with carved geometric designs, and has a good patina from age and use. The heavy blade is beveled on one side, and shows a hardened edge. The scabbard has the leather top, but is missing the horn bands. 25 inches overall with a 19 inch blade that is 5/16 inch thick at the back edge. 19th century, Visayan Islands, Central Philippines. ....Hold |
