PH835: Moro Silver Kris Sword

An unusual Moro Kris sword with a heavy silver cockatoo pommel. The handle is a thick and heavy silver with the top edge that wraps from front to back being high quality bright silver, and the sides being a lesser quality, possibly coin silver. The fittings are also a high quality bright silver, as is the stirrup. The original woven twine handle wrap is in good condition. The well forged blade has 9 shallow waves and a contrasting pattern of dark hardened edge and softer steel center. A high quality rare sword.
