A fine early sword from the Boa peoples of Africa. The handle is wrapped with thin copper and held in place with iron staples.The blade is well forged with central ridge and tapered edges. Overall good patina from age and use. From an early Belgian collection, passed down in the family from the 1940's. 18" Overall with a 14 3/4" Blade. 19th century D. R. Congo, Africa. $375.00
