INDO645: Unusual Javanese Knife

An unusual and rare form of Javanese knife with silver. The handle is entirely covered with thin detailed silver sheet. The blade is simple with a folded pamor showing. The scabbard has a wood top and a decorated silver pendok.    

13 1/2" Overall with a 7" Blade . Early 20th century, Java, Indonesia.
