PH721: 19th Cent. Moro Armor

A beautiful 19th century Moro armors that shows a lot of age and use. The plates are made of carabao horn and the chainmail and links are bronze or brass. There are a few remaining silver decorations on the front, but the latches that swivel to lock the armor closed are missing. One front shoulder plate has a row of broken holes at the top links and there is one missing horn plate on the bottom side. The back plates have some small breaks and losses and the woven mail is messy in spots with missing links here and there. The patina is good from a lot of age, use and handling.
