AS597: Bhutanese Sword

A rare Bhutanese sword with a heavy blade. The simple wood handle has a good patina from age and use. The well forged heavy blade has three fullers on each side, and a slight pattern showing. The original scabbard is in good condition and a good fit.    

26.5" overall, the sword is 23" long with a 17.75" blade that is 1/4" thick at the back edge.. Early 20th century, Bhutan.
