AS616: Ottoman Empire Blunderbuss Pistol

A beautiful 19th century Ottoman Empire "Dag" blunderbuss flintlock pistol. These beautifully crafted small blunderbuss were made and used in a variety of Ottoman Empire locations including Turkey. The wood stock has mother of pearl inlay and small brass studs. The flintlock mechanism looks complete, and works, but does get stuck in the cocked position at times. The barrel is intricately decorated with silver koftgari floral motifs.
