OC435: Solomon Island Spear

Great Solomon Island spear with three barbed tips. The entire shaft is covered with woven yellow and red orchid fiber that makes up a geometric pattern. The three tips have barbs made of bone or tooth material, some are missing. The overall piece has a good patina from age and use. There are some small losses to the weaving, but the overall condition is quite good. Also please see the matching Solomon Island bow.
