INDO546: Aceh Sikin sword

Aceh Sikin sword with very long and heavy blade. The horn handle has a deep curvature and a good dark patina from age and use. There is one crack in the horn that is quite stable. The blade is well forged showing a pattern in the metal, and the base of the blade has a forged floral decoration. This is one of the largest Sikin I have seen.    

34" Overall with a 27" Blade that is 3/8" at the back Edge. 19th century Sumatra, Indonesia.
